Rumors... Gossip... Lunch dates!

1. a story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty as to facts: a
rumor of war.
2. gossip; hearsay: Don't listen to rumor.

1. idle talk or rumor, esp. about the personal or private affairs of others: the endless gossip
about Hollywood stars.
I thought I'd put the definitions up so any tabloid journalists that might be reading this would get the hint.

In my research today I found a bunch of articles that said "EXCLUSIVE: Rob Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Spend Night Together At Chateau Marmont" - "Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: Lunch Date!" - "Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson: Budding Romance"

Funny to me that the swirling rumors & gossip never ends. So the big article "Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart: Lunch Date!" has pictures that look like this:

Notice they don't mention that they are with 2 other people at the table - and the simple fact that they are just sitting there, like normal people having lunch. But yet, the headlines is 'LUNCH DATE!'
Come on now, if this picture was of them sucking face, or holding hands, or something then I could understand the speculation that they are dating (which again is no ones business). But what this sneaky picture reveals .... is 4 people at a table chatting.

Then of course this blurb:
Only ****** can report that Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart spent the night together --in the same room -- at the fabled Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles Thursday night!
Our witness spotted RPattz and Kristen along with fellow Brit Packer Marcus Foster entering a suite of the legendary hotel Thursday evening.

The ever so popular "our witness" ... I can't tell you how many "witnesses," "insiders," "close friend," etc., there are that 'spill' private info to tabloid magazines and internet sites. I wonder if this is just 1 person using different labels. I mean 'in the same room' - I must always start with who cares .. but let me say that once again this is hearsay from some "eye witness." And also, let me tell you just for clarification - that the sort of suites they would be spending time in are not your regular, average hotel rooms. I know this because I once arrived late to a casino that I had already booked a hotel room for - and held it with a credit card. Well, my friend and I didn't get there till 3 am. Low and behold all the rooms were booked, but because I held it with a credit card they had to give us a room. We got a high roller room. It was unlike anything I'd ever seen. Living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms each having a jacuzzi and a steam shower, and a 1/2 bath in the foyer. I am assuming these are the kinds of rooms they have, I could be totally wrong but with the caliber that they are at as celebrities, it wouldn't surprise me. So there are 2 bedrooms - it's like a big condo with more than enough room for people to sleep over without being in the same room. I'm just saying....

But once again people, I must remind these "eye witnesses" and "insiders" and whoever is writing about it - all this is is a bunch of unverified BS trying to gain readers by speculating and inventing crappy stories that have very little (if any) validity to them.

All the pictures like you see above basically show 2 friends hanging out. That is it - nothing more, nothing less.

So unless we see a picture (which I hope to GOD we don't because once again peeps - none of our business) of Rob and Kristen in an embrace that is NOT part of a movie scene..... it's all 'gossip' and 'rumor.'
